“…I never saw anybody or anything more handsome than him.”

Below is a poem from my upcoming book, “Recognising the Beloved” – a set of poetry dedicated to specific ahadith telling descriptions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). One hadith acts as a chapter, under which is a poem exploring the hadith; the following chapter is a new hadith containing a different description and poem.

This is Chapter 3 of the Book, titled as above. The hadith talks of how handsome the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was, and in the poem I explore concepts of beauty.
